R-O-M Corp. announced Monday that it has acquired Fire Research Corp. for an undisclosed amount.
R-O-M Corp. is based in Belton, Mo., and specializes in products that improve worker efficiency and safety, targeting emergency responders, truck and trailer operators, utility workers and other jobs that use specialty vehicles.
The acquisition of Fire Research, based in Nesconset, N.Y., is the R-O-M’s fourth in the past two years. R-O-M is owned by Los Angeles-based private equity firm Century Park Capital.
